How Brezscales PROVES saturation on YouTube is a MYTH
YT saturation demystified.
Hey friend,
Remember when making a video about your business success was almost guaranteed to blow up on YouTube?
Those days are gone.
And if you're still thinking that having a successful business automatically means you'll have a successful YouTube channel, you need to read this newsletter from top to bottom.
I've been thinking about this a lot lately while watching the rise of a creator named Brez (@brezscales) who's absolutely crushing it in what many would consider an "oversaturated" space.

The Saturation Myth That's Holding You Back
Let's address the elephant in the room first: the idea that YouTube is "too saturated" to succeed is complete nonsense.
A lot of DMs I get from struggling creators eventually includes some variation of: "But Leroy, my niche is just too crowded."
Here's the brutal truth:
Saturation is just an excuse for poor execution.
Yes, there are thousands of creators in the make-money-online space. Yes, there are countless people showing off their wealth on YouTube. But how many of them are actually delivering value in a way that makes viewers want to come back for more?
Very few.
And that's exactly why Brez is thriving while others with deeper pockets are struggling to crack 10K views.
The End of the "I Made Millions" Era
Not long ago, a video like Davie Fogarty's "How I Went from $500 to Half a Billion in 5 Years" could easily generate 5+ million views just on the title and promise alone.
Today? That same approach would likely flop.
Why?
Because the YouTube audience has evolved, they've grown numb to wealth signaling without substance.
They've seen too many supercars, mansion tours, and income screenshots without any real connection to the person behind the success.
Your audience doesn't just want to see that you're successful – they want to understand who you are, how you think, and whether they can trust you. They simply got fatigued from supercars.
Why Brez Is Breaking Through the Noise
If you haven't checked out Brez's channel yet, you should. He's a young entrepreneur making serious money, but that's not why he's succeeding on YouTube.
He's winning because he understands three core principles that I've been hammering to my clients for years:
1. Format Matters More Than Wealth
In the "IDEAL" methodology I teach, I emphasize that your format is your growth engine. It's the blueprint that tells viewers exactly what to expect from you.
Brez doesn't just randomly flex his success. He's developed a consistent format that hooks viewers and keeps them coming back. His content has a familiar structure that builds recognition and loyalty, both in how he packages his videos and how he delivers the content.
While others in his space are creating scattered content with no coherent identity, Brez delivers a consistent experience that viewers can recognize instantly.
2. He Feels Like an Actual Human Being
The days of putting yourself on a pedestal and expecting people to worship you are over. Today's YouTube viewer craves authenticity and reliability over anything.
Brez shows his life: the ups, downs, struggles, and wins. He doesn't just share the highlight reel; he invites viewers into his world and tries to inspire his viewers by showing what he buys as a young dude living life at 100% intensity.
But besides that, he also shows he’s ‘‘just a kid.’’ He doesn’t try to constantly teach his audience; he tries to foster a connection as if you are with him during his day as a friend.
This creates what I call "emotional investment" – when viewers feel like they know you, they're much more likely to click on your next video and stay for the entire duration.
3. He Shows the "How" Not Just the "What"
Many wealth-focused creators make the fatal mistake of only showing results without process. They'll flash the cash, show the car, tour the house, but never truly reveal how they got there.
Brez breaks down his business models, explains his thought processes, and takes viewers behind the scenes. This transforms his content from pure entertainment to valuable education.
As I always tell my clients: viewers click for the promise, but they stay for the proof.
What Brez is doing connects to something I discovered after working with dozens of creators who have gone from zero to millions of views:
The most successful channels aren't trying to appeal to everyone.
This might sound counterintuitive, but it's the truth. When you try to make content for "everyone," you connect with no one.
Brez isn't trying to be the YouTube creator for every entrepreneur or business-minded person. He's speaking directly to a specific type of viewer who resonates with his approach, personality, and content style.
In my YouTube consulting work, I call this "viewer profile precision," and it's often the difference between a channel that struggles to break 5K views and one that consistently hits 100K+.
How to Apply This to Your Channel (Even If You're Not a Business Creator)
So, what can you learn from Brez's success, regardless of your niche?
Know exactly who you're creating for. Don't try to please everyone. Define your ideal viewer in extreme detail, then make every video specifically for them. When you speak to a defined audience, your content becomes magnetic to that group.
Develop a recognizable format. Find a content structure that works, then refine it relentlessly. Your viewers should know exactly what they're getting when they click on your video, while still being surprised by the specifics.
Show the human behind the expertise. Whatever your niche, viewers connect with personalities, not just information. Share your journey, struggles, and thought processes – not just the outcomes.
Prioritize value delivery over impression chasing. Focus on making content so valuable or inspirational that viewers feel compelled to share it, save it, and come back for more. One deeply satisfied viewer is worth more than 100 casual ones.
Be consistent with your upload schedule. Don't underestimate how often you need to upload if you want to grow quickly. The algorithm doesn’t care, but people do. The more they see you, the harder you become to ignore. Brez didn't blow up by uploading once a month – consistency matters.
Brez isn't succeeding despite saturation; he's succeeding because he's doing everything right in a space where most are doing it wrong.
And that's the opportunity for you.
Instead of worrying about how crowded your niche is, focus on how you can be the refreshing exception that viewers have been waiting for.
Until next week,
Leroy
P.S: Another huge winner in terms of breaking through saturation is Ben Mallah. I love his reality TV-like format for his channel. He ticks the exact same boxes!
