How I Helped a BRAND NEW business make $30,000 in 60 Days on YouTube
Yo! How have you been?
Today I want to share a story about a current client I work with, and how we managed to blow them up in terms of revenue in a very quick timeframe.
Going to post this on LinkedIn and X as well in a bit more edited fashion, but I want to ensure my newsletter subscribers get the juice first! 😂
Also, please let me know what other topics you’d like me to discuss. I am working hard on creating a content machine that is so powerful that you and I will take over in 2025. 💪
First off, understand that this type of success is a culmination of a LOT of trial and error. I have been doing YouTube in some capacity since 2009, and have also worked with some of the biggest brands in the world for their video marketing content.
I am not saying this is easy, and this is exactly why a YouTube strategist with serious experience on and off YouTube can be a cheat code.
It’s still no guarantee of success, though.
Before I dive into the specifics of the channel and how we did it, we need to understand what type of channel this is:
✅Real estate investment in specific city (I’ll reveal the channel later in the newsletter)
✅ The main focus is getting people aware to contact us
Currently, we have approximately 41,800 views, 3800 watch hours, and 1100 subscribers.
So, how can we make $30,000 in 60 days with just 41.8k views!?
By not using TNT to blow a hole in the market, but a .50 Cal
Let me explain.
I work with entertainment creators where our main goal is simple:
Maximize views.
But, with business channels like this one, the main focus is different.
Instead of maximizing views, we focus on sniping for the right viewers.
The first thing I did to ensure we went in the right direction was market research.
Simply put, there are a few things I want to know before I work with anyone:
❓Who makes up the top 3 in this niche?
❓What are their most popular all-time videos?
❓What are their recent popular videos?
❓ What patterns of questions/remarks can I find in their comments?
This is where I take note of the sophistication of said niche.
After researching, I found that overall, the market we were entering was a level 2 max.
Meaning that people were claiming better returns than their competitors but packaged in a way that nobody would really click it.
The content looked crap overall, and nobody really understood YouTube.
So, I knew we could take a big chunk of the market and do it FAST.
But I hear you asking, ‘‘what channel is this? I want to see the results so far and what the videos look like?’’
And although I am not revealing it on X or anywhere else public, I am happy to give you a hint here.
Keep it between you and me.. 😉
This channel is specifically aimed at real estate investors interested in Dubai.
So, now that you can start looking up the channel yourself and speculate about which one I am involved in, we can move on.
This is where thoughts about branding came in.
If you are a real estate investor looking for new cities, what do you want to see in the videos you find?
I came up with the following things we had to check off the list:
✅A high-end-looking studio to shoot in
✅ Quality suits for the hosts and overall luxury appearance
✅A strong and consistent post-production style
✅Thorough, honest research and data-backed content
One competitor showed the viewer around an expensive neighborhood for investment analysis in a Hyundai.
There is nothing wrong with a Hyundai car, but would you want an investment advisor to come to your place in a Hyundai or a Bentley? 😂
So, we had optics out of the way; we knew how we would present ourselves, and now it was time to start creating content.
We assembled a small team and got to work.
Once the first videos were done, we uploaded three to the channel on day one to give the algorithm something to work with and create a view loop.
What is a view loop? This is the easiest way to think about it:
Imagine being a potential client.
You watch video 1, and because of a good curiosity rehook at the end of video 1,
you click video 2.
Now we extracted two views out of 1 viewer!
This is a great signal for the YouTube algorithm to push the video to even more similar viewers.
(If you want, I can talk more about curiosity rehooks in a different post somewhere down the line)
This resulted in a pretty good first month, although we were operating in a hyper-specific niche:
But this wasn't the most important thing.
My job was to help them create a YouTube channel that got them leads.
And let's just say we are doing very well just two and a half months in.
At the moment of writing, there's a potential revenue on the table of a minimum of $120,000.
In just 2,5 months of posting.
No other platforms, no paid ads, nothing.
The investment so far? Around $8500 in total, including the costs of working with me. And while the investment per video will stay the same, this strategy's compounding effect will continue to grow.
So, what's the key takeaway here? What is the lesson we should learn?
Build a strategy with the best potential to help you conquer your market, and you can become a market leader in most niches within months instead of years.
