Monetized on YouTube? Easy.
How to turn your YouTube channel into a money-making machine (Even Without Millions of Views)
My friend, how have you been?
I am back, and I am back with a vengeance!
2025 is the year I want to provide as much value as possible from the experience of doing millions of views with my clients daily.
And I’ve decided to kick the year off strong with an email about YouTube and monetization.
Because most creators think they need millions of views or a massive subscriber count to make real money on YouTube. Spoiler: you don’t.
In fact, some of the highest-earning YouTubers aren’t playing the “views game” at all.
Instead, they’re using smart strategies to monetize their channels early and often. I do this with all of my clients in different ways.
With some, I focus on building a hardcore fanbase before we start a branded product,
and with others, I sell a digital product from the get-go.
This is so overpowered that it generated over $5,000,000 last year for one of my clients.
So, here are three proven strategies I use that you can use starting today:
1. Create and Sell Digital Products
Think eBooks, online courses, templates, or memberships.
Digital products allow you to sell directly to your audience with minimal overhead, and to be honest, the profit margins are insane.
Chad Kimball, one of my clients, generated over $500,000 with his Google Maps course last year straight from his YouTube channel.
And here is why it works so well:
High margins: Once it’s made, your product can be sold endlessly.
Targeted sales: Even a small, engaged audience will buy if your product solves a specific problem.
Example: A channel about learning bookkeeping sells a spreadsheet bundle for bookkeepers. The price is $19.
At the moment, they get around 5000 views per month. Let’s be conservative and say they sell to -on average- 75 of those viewers.
That means they make $1425 a month from their spreadsheet bundle alone. With 5000 views PER MONTH.
That is possible in virtually any niche with the right topics and video packaging.
💡Quick tip:
Start with a simple, actionable product tied to your niche. A fitness channel could sell a 4-week workout plan. A creator tips channel could offer a thumbnail template pack.
2. Affiliate Marketing
Recommend products or services you use and earn a commission for every sale through your unique link.
Why it works so well:
Zero upfront costs.
Leverages your existing content.
Example: A tech YouTuber links to gear they review in the video description. Every time someone buys a product through their Amazon affiliate link, they earn 5-10% of the sale.
Choose affiliate products that align naturally with your content. Authentic recommendations = better conversions.
For transparency, I share the tools I use daily for ideation at the end of each email I send. In months where I email more, I make around $1000 just from people using my links to use products that I think are awesome either way.
It’s a literal win-win for everybody!
3. Offer a Service or Coaching
Use YouTube as a platform to showcase your expertise and attract clients for 1:1 coaching, consulting, or services.
Why it works so well:
It builds trust: Your videos prove your knowledge before viewers even speak to you.
It has high value: Services can (and should) command premium pricing.
Example: A channel about personal finance offers 1:1 budgeting consultations for $200/hour.
Just five clients = $1,000.
If you want to use this effectively, use a call-to-action in your videos (e.g., “Book a free 15-minute discovery call”) to funnel viewers into your services.
The bottom line is this:
You don’t need to wait until you hit 100K subscribers to make money on YouTube. By focusing on targeted, value-driven monetization strategies, you can start earning with the audience you already have.
Some creators with 5000 views a month make WAY more than creators that get 50 million views a month. Remember that. 👉🧠
